VISION OF COMMUNICATION STUDIES

To become a future-oriented study program based on strengthening faith and piety in Allah SWT, as well as mastery of science & technology (IPTEK) so that it becomes a center of excellence for Muslims and the Indonesian nation in the field of communication at the international level by promoting a multicultural perspective.

 

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Pancasila education is a course that aims to prepare students to be able to think analytically and synthetically by taking into account impacts. By showing a sense of submission to God Almighty and being able to show their religious attitude. Students are able to uphold human values ​​in carrying out their duties based on religion, morals and ethics. And able to internalize academic values, norms and ethics (able to master the concepts and theories of nationalism and the progress of civilization).

This course studies the foundation and knowledge of Pancasila, Pancasila as a philosophical system, Pancasila as an ethical system, Pancasila as the basis for Science Development, and Pancasila as a guideline for implementing the rights and obligations of citizens. During studying this course, it is hoped that students will be able to explain the basic ideology country namely Pancasila. Able to have a view of the archipelago and defend the country, and be able to implement Pancasila values ​​in state life.

 

COURSE RELATIONSHIP WITH COMPETENCY

The Pancasila Education course is one of the compulsory courses aimed at supporting the achievement of the main competencies that Communication Science graduate students have an obedient attitude in upholding human values ​​in carrying out tasks based on religion, morals, ethics and internalizing values, norms, and academic ethics based on Pancasila.

 

OUTCOME

The role of the Pancasila Education course in supporting the achievement of main competencies is carried out through the outputs of this course, namely the ability to think analytically and synthesis. To achieve these main abilities, the following is a map of its competencies.
